Note on Member Fees
Each member of the cooperative pays $1/month in addition to the entity fee. All members must also have digital residency ($2/month per person).
Tax Obligations
In addition to registration fees, Zone Cooperatives have tax obligations:
*Tax is assessed quarterly by the Registrar based on income from transactions with Zone Entities. All entities are exempt from capital gains tax, wealth tax, and VAT on services outside Tanzania.
Payment Methods
Fees and taxes must be paid in Digital Assets as directed by the Regulator:

Late Payment Penalties
Failure to pay tax liabilities on time may result in penalties:
- • Late Payment Penalty: 5% of unpaid taxes per month of delay, assessed daily
- • Misreporting Penalty: Up to 25% of underreported liability for willful misrepresentation
